There are a number of women-dominated occupations in the health sector and beyond with legal pay equity claims at various stages. This has inspired us to organise around the issue of the historical undervaluing of ‘women’s work’ of all kinds.
Our aim is to share information and build solidarity across occupational groups that are affected by the undervaluing of women-dominated work. Self-organisation is one of the guiding principles of this group, with the belief that we as workers are the vital component in transforming our working conditions through collective direct action
